Become a Registered Player

Before anyone can become a registered player with YellowHead West Pickleball club they must first be a member in good standing with Pickleball Canada. Fortunately, that registration automatically will enroll you into Pickleball Alberta. So please enroll yourself at Pickleball Canada before becoming a registered player with YHWP.
Make note of the membership number you will be given at Pickleball Canada. You will need to enter it into the YHWP form below.

The Four Steps to Regularly Playing Pickleball with YellowHead Pickleball

Purchase a membership to Pickleball Canada ($10), which automatically enrolls you with Pickleball Alberta.
Become a registered player with YellowHead West Pickleball ($35). You do this through the form below.
Purchase a "virtual punch card" for a set number of playing sessions here. (This link will only function properly if you've registered with YHPC and are logged in.)
Sign up for play sessions for afternoons or evenings. (This link will only function properly if you've registered with YHPC and are logged in.)

To join YHWP please complete and submit the application form below. As part of the process, you must pay your annual membership dues of $35.

Players - Adult - $35.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments For all pickleball seasons, all players must be a current Registered Player with Yellowhead West Pickleball Club in order to receive invitations to play.

The cost of registering is $35 annually. There are no refunds of this charge.

The renewal of the annual membership is on the one year anniversary of the initial registration.

These fees are used for covering the cost of the operation of the program. This includes administration software, equipment, supplies, banking fees, professional fees and incidentals.

As general rule, membership fees collected are to cover fixed overhead costs, not operating costs. Membership fees may increase in the future to cover escalating overhead costs as outlined above.

All registered players must be current members of Pickleball Canada and Pickleball Alberta for insurance reasons.
